Greetings from San Diego! Today I got together with the doll that is Carla of Tiny Angry Crafter and we visited some of the antique shops in the Ocean Beach area (where I bought one little item) before visiting Old Town San Diego. And let me just say, it was incredibly charming. I felt like I was on the set of Zorro!
It was so much fun to be around so many beautiful plants, and peek in and out of unique shops and read about San Diego’s history. Carla and I chatted as we ate churros and we made plans to get together again tomorrow for more adventures!
I remember been there more than 15 years ago and love it! I must return soon…
I also loved the Zoo and El Coronado island, are you planning to go there?
Lovely! San Diego is a really beautiful place, and your pictures are lovely. I especially like the pepper trees framing everything in trailing branches.
I only made it down to San Diego once while I lived in Southern California, but I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to go again!
Thanks for visiting my beloved city!! The traffic can be brutal, but it’s such an amazing place to live. If you love Mexican food, I suggest either La Torta Cafe in La Mesa (charming little gem tucked into a neighborhood) or Taco Surf in Pacific Beach. Oh, and go visit Frock You (I kid you not) Vintage Clothes in North Park. It’s awesome.

Love it!!! I have such a soft spot in my heart for historic parks of all kinds. I hope you two have every bit as much fun on your outing today.
