Titillating Tip
Dressing vintage doesn’t need to cost a lot. Almost every city has at least one Goodwill (Eugene as at least two, and at least four St. Vincent de Paul’s). Thrift Stores like this are great places to find stuff, clothing and otherwise. Also, check out local resale shops. Even ones that claim that they buy current clothing (usually clothing purchased within the last three years), actual vintage items and vintage style items crop up. Resale is great for today’s current state: most little resale shops are local – so you’re supporting the local economy, and you’re basically recycling, which is good for the environment!
Other news, I just watched Man Men for the first time – I know, I’m slow on the uptake! My friend gave me the first episode ages ago via itunes. I didn’t watch it when it first airred because it looked so gosh darn sexist! I didn’t expect any female characters who stood up for themselves. Anyhow, just purchased the first season off Amazon. Full review of the first season to come soon!
