Fashionable Ladies

I had the wonderful pleasure of attending a “Fur and Feathers” luncheon, hosted by the vintage seller, Julie Burgmans of FabGabs.  Ladies were of course encouraged to wear fur and feathers, obviously, but also carry lizard skin handbags, as well as shoes!

Where is the fur? I wore a coat with a fur collar, but felt it too much for this photo opt. I must say, I’m rather proud of my feather addition…yes, those are little birds.

I attended with the darling Rhiannon of Garb-Oh Vintage, and as we left her car, we bumped into fellow vintage blogger Solanah.  We then took some time to snap a few pictures, before heading into Huber’s for our late lunch.

At the luncheon I met some wonderful new vintage enthusiasts, as well as got know some a bit better! I had such a wonderful time I all but utterly forgot about taking more pictures!

Also in attendance was Jennifer of Jumblelaya, who sells fantastic and very beautiful vintage items!  It was lovely being around such like-minded people, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I hope there are many more events like this in my future.
