Days with Dad
When Patrick goes on business trips, I often decide to just go to my dad’s for the time he’s away. I love spending time with my dad since we share the same passions. The last few days were spent shopping, pricing inventory for the shop in Coburg, working on the newly acquired Cadillac hearse, and car cruise.

How wonderful that your DD lives close enough for you two to spend time together like this. A huge part of the reason why we moved to Penticton last year was so that we could finally live near some of my family (chiefly my mom, step-dad, and sister) for the first time during the course of our marriage (before that we’d always either been in Europe or back east in Ontario), and I’m so happy we made that decision. All the time we’ve been able to spend with relatives since then has been invaluable.

I agree! You are so fortunate to be able to spend time with your dad, enjoy it. I live in TN, my parents/family in UT. Daily I think about how my mom and dad are getting up there in age and I won’t get to spend time with them before they pass. It’s weird, when I was younger I really never thought or appreciated that my parents wouldn’t be around forever. Now it weighs on me daily. Awesome hearse!
