A Visitor from Down Under
Over the last few days I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Fran of A Vintage Story. Yesterday we met up with Solanah of Vixen Vintage and ran around downtown, visiting various vintage shops, dropping by the photobooth, and popping into Powell’s.
It’s so wonderful meeting fellow vintage bloggers especially ones from other countries! It’s fascinating to hear what the vintage scene is like in places like Australia, and being able to ask questions. Plus it’s just plan fabulous to hang out with like-minded people, and Fran is just too adorable and has fantastic taste.

I think Solanah had her hair done by Kristen that day. But I know she has done other hair tutorials on her blog.

That sounds like such a delightful get together! (Would you believe it, I’ve never taken photo booth photos before? It’s true – I’d definitely want to do that if I was in Portland, too.) Isn’t it great how one gets to meet so many truly awesome folks from around the world via the online vintage community?
