Vintage Valentine’s Day Cards Vol. 5

Valentine’s Day is this weekend! Can you believe it?? So what better time to share yet another portion of my vintage Valentine’s Day card collection?

A can-can girl in a green outfit stands in front of a large heart and text that reads "Be your VALENTINE? I 'CAN-CAN' You be mine?"

Chipmunks Chip and Dale are on a heart with acorns, text reads "May be 'a-corny' idea - But I need you for my Valentine!"

A boy and girl hold phones with hearts around and text that reads "I would LOVE to be YOU'RE Valentine"

A blonde cowgirl stands next to a brown horse with hearts around and text reading "Hello! Of C-HORSE I'm years Valentine"

A boy carries a massive heart to a blonde girl, text reads "My heart is HEAVY until you say yes to my Valentine"

A white lamb stands near a white picket fence with large hearts above with text inside that reads "Don't Be 'Sheepish' Be a Lamb Be My Valentine"

In front of a large couple is a hillbilly couple with text that reads "I'm shore glad this feelin' for you aint 'FEUDAL' Valnetine"

A small blue bird rests on top of the head of a grey kitten, text reads "No KITTEN! You go to my head Valentine"

A blonde cowgirl is putting on her boots, below it reads "Bet your boots...you're my Valentine"

A blonde girl pumps a perfume bottle with text that reads "Just 'scent' to say Valentine Be Mine"

The one with the two blonde kids on the phone is so weird in that it uses the incorrect form of “your” but in doing so it seems to also feature the message “I LOVE YOU VAL” which I find interesting. I am also very amused by the “FEUDAL” one as it seems to reference the Hatfields and McCoys.
