Step into Whoville during Grinchmas

The fanciful town of Whoville from How the Grinch Stole Christmas pops up in the middle of Universal Studios each holiday season, and while I’ve missed it the past couple years, I was darn sure to make it this year! While there may be three versions of How the Grinch Stole Christmas now, Grinchmas pays homage to the 2000 live action film. Universal Plaza in the center of the park has been transformed into Whoville, complete with a whimsical tree, prop from the film, Who-Hash to eat, and a variety of Whoville citizens to meet, including the Grinch himself, and his faithful friend Max. After the sun sets over the colorful town, the Whos have a delightful tree lighting ceremony.

Unlike Disneyland, who keeps the holidays going until January 6, Grinchmas along with the Harry Potter holiday decor and holiday themed Hogwarts Castle light show, ends December 29. Learn more on Universal’s website.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, and that perhaps, like the Grinch, your heart grew three times the size!
