Christmas has come and gone, and I can’t believe it’s over already. This year we were able to resume our tradition of going to Disneyland on Christmas day, and despite the rainy weather I was still determined to wear the Christmas outfit I had been planning, and well, I learned my lesson, never again will I wear a full length dress in the rain.

I bought this dress a month or so ago, and was instantly like “Okay, this is what I’m wearing for Christmas” and what resulted was a very Dr. Quinn looking outfit. Which, honestly, I’m here for. If you’re new to the blog, then you may not know I absolutely adored that show growing up, and was thrilled when I was able to visit Paramount Ranch, which stood in for Colorado Springs in the series, and was later used in Westworld, among other films and TV series.
Disneyland really is magical during the holidays, even in the rain.
No matter what holiday you celebrate during the winter season, I hope you had a lovely one, despite the trying times we find ourselves still in. This also marks the last post for 2021. As for New Year’s Eve, we will be spending it at home by ourselves once again, but at least this year we will get to see the sparkle of Disneyland’s midnight fireworks, unlike last year. Here is to 2022, and the hopes it is even just the smallest bit better than 2021.
Outfit
Jacket: Thrifted
Scarf: Stolen from Patrick
Necklace: A shop in Columbia State Historic Park
Dress: Buffalo Exchange
Shoes: Oak Tree Farms
Rings: Here and there
I was thinking about your statement that you’ll never wear a full length dress in the rain again and Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice having her skirt 6″ deep in mud!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Even wet, you still look fabulous! Happy New Year! Here’s looking to more of your great posts, and yes…even just a little bit better for 2022 would be great!

A hardcore yes to the Dr. Quinn vibes of this fantastic vintage maxi dress. I was utterly and completed obsessed with that show as a youngster, too.
Three very big cheers regarding being able to resume your treasured tradition of visiting Disneyland on Christmas. That sounds like a tremendously enjoyable way to celebrate.
