Patchwork Christmas

As per our tradition, Patrick and I went to Disneyland on Christmas Day for a relaxing, but fun day going on a few rides, but mainly indulging in many of the sweet treats offered during the holiday season. We also spent a good deal of time just strolling, peaking in the windows at the marvelous holiday displays. I love the detail that goes into many of the shop windows, and displays inside the stores.

The hem is blue all the way around, a brown belt, and a large squash blossom necklace of green stones, standing in front of the doorway to Rancho Del Zocalo, which features twisting wrought iron of leaves and above, a stained glass window with a large letter "Z" in the middle.

Sadly, our day was cut short when the heel of my boot decided to come loose, so off to the cobbler it will go. I hope you all had a lovely and safe Christmas, as you can see, California has been spared the icy and snowy weather that nearly the rest of the country has been experiencing. The next time I’ll be coming to you, it will be from 2023! So here is wishing you all a lovely New Year’s Eve!
