As it rains cats and dogs here in Oregon, all I can say is thank goodness for my vintage overshoes.

Overshoes, galoshes, shoe covers, whatever you want to call them, are a must-have for any vintage dame who lives in an area with lots of snow or rain. So, what exactly are they? Overshoes are often made of rubber and they slip on right over your high heeled shoe! Like so…

My pair is fairly standard and simple, but does the trick, but if you want to be a little more fancy, check out these stunning beauties available at Jojo’s Retro and Vintage on Etsy…

More pairs are available on Etsy, as well as Ebay, if you simply type in “overshoes” into the search bar.
Stay dry!

Hi I’m interested in the overshoes, size 6, but could not find them on ebay nor Etsy…where can I get them?
I just found this pair on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/267319932/vintage-woman-rubber-boots-shuglov-by-b?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=vintage&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=overshoes%206&ref=sr_gallery_7
Perhaps not exactly what you are looking for, but keep checking Etsy and Ebay, as well as brick-and-mortar vintage clothing shops and antique malls.
