April Showers

I’m finally beginning to feel better, just only a stuffy nose remains, so today Patrick and I went out to run a few errands… I grabbed an umbrella on the way out, and I’m sure glad we did, because we got showered on while we were out.

We snapped these pictures outside one of my favorite houses in Portland – this crazily painted art deco pad. Which is currently for sale. There were no flyers and I can’t find the listing for it! Boo hoo! I hope you all are having a lovely weekend!

  2. Wow…you must be able to wear any color and look gorgeous! I always adore your wool skirts, so figure flattering.

  3. Glad to hear you’re feeling better!

I adore your umbrella and I love how you’ve coordinated your outfit with it.

  4. I love your Technicolor outfit, but I’m especially taken with the umbrella. I don’t know a lot about vintage umbrellas, but lately I’ve been shopping for a cheerful spring bumbershoot and I don’t know the proper names for the various shapes and parts of umbrellas.

Could you tell us more about your pretty umbrella and vintage umbrellas in general? I’m dying to know who made yours!

    Thank you.

    • Thanks!

Mine is vintage and I can’t find any tags. I tend to buy any vintage umbrella I stumble across that is under $20. The shape of this umbrella is called pagoda.

  5. Absolutely gorgeous my dear. I want to elaborate, but really it would just be a stream of: lovelovesqueeadorableperfectiwantitlovelove. But I think you get the point;)
