Last night Patrick and I went to go see Frozen again. And my favorite color palette for January melded perfectly with the film…
I just finished reading The Art of Frozen and was happy that I did so before seeing the film again. I was able to spy many details that may have gone overlooked with even a second viewing. If you’re a fan of the film, I highly recommend the book. I really enjoyed the concept art, especially since it had a mid-century flair to it.
We also bumped into Solanah, of Vixen Vintage, and her husband after the film, only to discover they had been in the same theatre as us! Crazy!

Beautiful cape. And those mink(?) earrings are darling. I have a doggy, kitty brooch and sweater gaurd clips made of mink, oh and also a black sweater with matching mink ball ties. And I can’t wait to take my kids to see frozen. Great to know you really liked it!
Though the lovely colour palette here may have more in common with ice than sunshine, my first thought upon seeing this ensemble is how radiantly gorgeous it is. That vivid, eye-catching jewel toned blue coat is stunning and looks so, so amazing with both the grey you partnered it with and your hair colour. I love everything about this great winter look!
Oh that cape!!! This color is calling my name and even though it is quite a fave for me, I don’t have nearly anything in the shade!
And those earrings are ridiculously cute!
