A Case of the Blues…
Not really…just, I really love wearing blues in January, as you may have noticed in my last post. I feel that blue really celebrates winter in a beautiful way, and when it came time to get dressed to go out to drinks with some friends over the weekend, I settled upon this outfit…
While I adore this blue, I own few pieces in this icy shade, so I often repeat pieces throughout the month. And I love that sweater sets are versatile in doing this, which is one of the reasons I picked this up at Simply Vintage late last year. Plus the detailing in the yoke area allows for many different jewelry options, since it features gold thread, pearl beads and rhinestones.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

You color sense is fantastic. Love the blue with the dark red.
Love this color combo! The gold makes it really special.
Love the combination of powder blue and gold. It’s something I would have never have thought of, but it looks fantastic. x
I LOVE the look of sweater sets, they always look fantastic on other people but I am never sure on how the knitted skirt looks on me, so have never been able to buy one even though there are many on Etsy that I am coveting! This pale shade of blue is really lovely too!
This set looks so pretty on you. I really like the gold accents. Wish I could find such a nice sweater set at a reasonable price.
That is the loveliest shade of blue! You look just gorgeous!
Such a pretty outfit. I like how you have tied it together with the gold touches.
Smashingly pretty colour combo! I love pale blue and gold together. So often you see silver instead of gold, which can be gorgeous, too, but I just find that gold wakes up the blue and makes one think of a perfectly clear sunny sky when the two are partnered.
This outfit is beautiful and unendingly chic, my dear!
I don’t know why but I don’t wear blue often, I’m really into red lately…
But blue is also a nice color and suits you pefectly!
Those gloves and purse are incredible.
I love this two piece set on you! I always look at this on other girls and swoon…alas I always mange to look short, dumpy and frumpy in them when I try them on. Just stunning. xx Shauna
Whoa! My eyes have just been assaulted with Vintage Fabulousness! Thank you for that! Everything about this outfit is fab but I have to say your hair and that bag are my fave.
