Despite my many visits to Disneyland Resort during its 60th anniversary Diamond Celebration, I had yet to meet our beloved characters along Main Street USA in their special outfits designed just for the 60th. Part of that was because I wanted to wear an outfit inspired by their outfits! And I finally was able to put one together. So yesterday we enjoyed a day in the park meeting Mickey, Minnie and more! I can honestly say I’m in love with Minnie’s dress and want Daisy’s shoes.

Goofy was an absolute doll, kissing my hand, and taking me for a walk along Main Street. But the fun didn’t end with characters. We also enjoyed the new parade, Paint the Night, along Main Street. For those who remember the Main Street Electrical Parade, Paint the Night is heavily inspired by it, with many floats that are homages to those in the original Electrical Parade. Plus many of the costumes of the dancers wear are simply phenomenal.

I truly love that I can spend a day at my work on a day off. It is so amazing to both create magic and experience it.
For those Disneyland fans out there, how many of you saw the Main Street Electrical Parade?

Purse & Charm Bracelet: Disneyland
Vintage Disneyland Pendant: Don’t remember…
Loving all your photos!!! I’ll be there in two months for Tiki Day and couldn’t be more excited about my trip back. It’s been over a year now since I have been to the park. I’m having heavy withdrawals!! I sure hope that bracelet will still be available when I’m there!
Yay! I hope to see you!!! And I’m sure it will be!
Amazing! I really wish I could go this year, it looks like so much fun.
I’m so envious! I used to work at Walt Disney World where they still have the Main Street Electrical Parade. I did a new PAC shifts with it, so there’s a huge amount of nostalgia there for me. The new Paint the Night looks amazing and I bet it’s even better in person. The atmosphere around the parades is always so… electric. Bad pun but it’s true!
I was hoping to be back again in the US so I could see Disneyland for it’s 60th anniversary, but it looks like I’ll have to wait. It’s super cliche, but the Disney Parks are truly the most magical places and all the cast members put so much effort into making everyone feel special and that every day is a celebration for something.
I adore your outfit! If that dress and shirt were in my wardrobe, I wouldn’t have picked to wear them, but they’re the perfect bold contrast! The red is really great to match the “Disney red” all the characters have 😀
Can I ask where you got your necklace and bracelet from? You have the nicest Disney accessories and I’m all for showing your subtle Disney side with accessories XD
How neat!
The necklace, I honestly don’t remember. It’s vintage, so I’m betting I picked it up at an antique show or something. The charm bracelet is from Disneyland.
Oh man, I want Daisy’s shoes too!!
I love your cute accessories, as usual. And your shirt!!!
I think I NEED to see that parade. It looks gorgeous!
We were there on Sunday! Even though I’m completely wiped out today at work, it’s so worth it. Being able to create memories with my 2 daughters is amazing…it makes me feel like a kid again!
So fabulously fun! I adore all the festive Disney touches in your outfit. That is a beautiful way to look at working at Disney (re: your last line). It made me smile and feel so happy for you as I read those cheerful words.
Tons of hugs & happy start of August wishes,
♥ Jessica
Super fun pictures! I really love this skirt on you!
