It may still be September, but Halloween is in full swing down here in Southern California. Disneyland officially kicked off the Halloween season back on the 7th, I hauled out the Halloween decorations, and last night was the first night for Knott’s Scary Farm, the annual, multi-night event at Knott’s Berry Farm, which features a variety of mazes, shows, plus loads of monsters roaming trying to scare you, with annual passes in hand, and excited to experience the new mazes, Patrick and I went last night.
Normally, I would also share photos of the event, but it’s very difficult to photograph, as it occurs after night falls, and I didn’t quite get as many photos as I wanted as it was so busy, so we’re just going to stick with my outfit today…

This is our fourth year attending Scary Farm, and third year in which we have had annual passes to the event, which allows us to go to each night if we wish. Typically we go three to five times during the season. In doing so I’ve learned a lot about Scary Farm, both as a guest and from friends who work there. I’ve also talked a lot with people who want to go, but are afraid to for a variety of reasons, which is why I’ve been working on a guide, akin to my regular Knott’s Berry Farm guide, and Disneyland Guide. So look for it soon!
