Over the weekend a group of my friends and I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. I honestly hadn’t been to an aquarium in ages, so it was a fun diversion for the weekend.

I fully intended to really go nuts shooting photos here of the cute seals, brightly colored fish, and other fun sea creatures, but it was crowded. Like, I’ve experienced less crowds at Disneyland. But, it was a holiday weekend, and I’ll be honest, I’m glad for the crowds. The Aquarium of the Pacific is a wonderful institution, and raises a great deal of awareness about endangered sea life, and the impact of climate change.
This year the Aquarium of the Pacific celebrates 20 years, and on May 24 it will be expanding and opening a brand new wing, Pacific Visions.
