As much as I love Christmas, I’m bummed to say goodbye to the Halloween season. I added a lot to both our vintage Halloween decor collection, as well as my spooky wardrobe, and I didn’t even get to wear all of it! But one new addition to the Halloween closet that was not going to go unworn was this gem…
Perhaps you remember me gushing about my childhood favorite Scooby Doo and the Witch’s Ghost when I got my hands on a shirt that was seen in the movie. In the post I mentioned the film’s fictional all girl goth rock band, The Hex Girls, and how I loved them so much went as the lead singer for Halloween in the sixth grade. Well, someone who may love the fictitious band as much as me made a faux tour shirt for them, and it’s seriously now one of my most prized possessions. I paired it with a tight pencil and some serious 90s witchy shoes I recently thrifted for our traditional Halloween visit to Knott’s Scary Farm.
I also may have bought the design in a tote bag as well…Seriously, I couldn’t help myself!
Now to get to the business of taking down all of the Halloween decorations! I hope you all had a lovely and safe Halloween!
I’ve never seen that Scooby Doo film, but the fictional band sounds ace! How funny that you can get band memorabilia for fictious bands. Nearly Christmas decoration time, your house won’t be bare for long. Xx
