November, much like October, flew by, and we had a lot of ups and downs, causing quite the delay in getting our home decorated for Christmas, but it is finally done, and ready to share with you all!

Unlike previous years, where we tried to cram in our collection of aluminum trees, this year we kept it fairly simple for a variety of reasons. One reason is we have welcomed a new fur baby into our lives! You won’t spy her here, but I’m sure you’ll see her eventually!
New additions to this year include the collection of prints we purchased from Hatch Show Print during our visit to Nashville, and a handful of vintage Christmas cards, including several that came from one of my favorite Etsy shops, NeatoKeen! But not much else! I haven’t found a whole lot while out antiquing. Speaking of vintage Christmas cards, I’ll be doing my annual vintage Christmas card post later this week, so stay tuned!

My collection of vintage Dream Pet and Dream Pet style reindeer hasn’t even increased! And remains steady at 70 currently. I still see them at antique malls for roughly $18-25, and I’ve learned to let others have a chance to get one, but I tell myself if I revisit the antique mall and it’s still there by December 23, I will buy it. And so far every one I have done that with has gone on to find a home!
If you’re new here, I’ll let you in on a little secrete, that huge pile of presents is fake! They are part of my system to cat-proof and protect our trees. If you’d like to read more on the process, check out this post! I started by wrapping empty boxes, but have been transitioned to the decorative boxes found at stores like TJ Maxx. What is nice is that most of those styles of boxes are designed to nest, so they are both easier to store and take up less room.
Are you all decorated for the holidays?
Janey, longtime reader and infrequent commenter here: I really appreciate your blog entries in my email. Keep up the good work and Happy Holidays!
So cool and festive as always!
Always beautifully decorated and the attention to detail is amazing Merry Christmas and Happy New year

Still loving that custom television cabinet Patrick built. That thing is most excellent!
My neighbor got that “Disco Noel” record when it first came out back in the 70s. He had a monster stereo and would crank up those Disco Christmas songs loud enough to be heard on the whole street.
