So things are finally getting settled. I haven’t posted pictures of the apartment yet because I was waiting on finding a better fixture for our dining room. The one that was here when we arrived was new and just wasn’t us. So out with the new and in with the old! Anyhow, we finally got around to going to the Hollywood theatre (for which the district is named after) to see a flick.
Patrick and I had been a few times while in high school, but we had not returned since our move back to the Rose City. What did we see you ask? Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead. If you’re wondering, it wasn’t as amusing as the trailer made it out to be, and altogether just okay. The Hollywood will also be showing Waking Sleeping Beauty, a documentary about the Disney Renaissance, ie: my childhood. Greatly looking forward to it!
But! More importantly, my dress! I was out and about today, and happened upon this GORGEOUS midnight blue taffeta dress. Isn’t the neckline to die for!? The hat I must say is from Alex Sandra. That woman has the most amazing array of vintage hats (among other vintagey goodness!) The shoes are an old stand-by from my days of shopping in Springfield, and the purse was a find while in Washington for Billetproof, as are the pearl and rhinestone earrings.
Additionally, I just posted three new items to Etsy! Head on over there and check ’em out! Have a lovely weekend!
That is a gorgeous dress! What an amazing find.
That theatre sounds awesome. Waking Sleeping Beauty sounds like an awesome documentary as well: I hope it comes here so I can go see it.
