Over the weekend I pounded out my second ever dress!  Actually, it’s a “jumper” but it can be worn as a dress…

I used this great early 1960s Simplicity which includes options for a pencil skirt jumper or a fuller skirt jumper along with the pattern for a blouse!  The pattern is one of many I’ve collected in recent months and I have loads more just waiting to be make, and I have others that are in need of owners interested in making them!  They are currently being listed in my Etsy shop, with more to come!

I’m fairly happy with how it came out.  It’s a little on the roomy side (kind of good, which means it’s quite comfortable!), and I didn’t take into account that I have a lower than average waist.  Live and learn! I have plans to make tackle a full circle skirt dress and then take on the process that is sleeves!
