Afternoon Tea

Today I joined a few friends to celebrate one of their birthdays by having afternoon tea at Portland’s Heathman.  Enveloped in plush chairs and dark wood we chatted away while sipping tea and taking delectable bites from savory sandwiches and sweet cakes.

The occasion and warm weather allowed for me to wear a new addition to my closet, the most perfect 1940s frock detailed with little birds from Simply Vintage.  I’m not sure I can rave enough about this dress. It’s the most lightweight rayon, features a peplum and keyhole cut out too!  Not to mention it’s incredibly comfortable!

Hat: Expo
Dress: Simply Vintage Boutique, Portland, Oregon
Stockings: What Katie Did
Shoes & Purse: Thrifted
Earrings: Antique Alley, Portland, Oregon
Bracelet: Ugh, I think Forever 21, circa 2006

  1. Wow just love this whole ensemble – the hat! the dress! the bag! It all looks great 🙂 I love putting a whole vintage outfit together when I go out to fancy places.
