Fall Finds from Orange
One thing I didn’t really talk about when I shared our travels to California was our visit to Orange for shopping and lunch with Patrick’s sister. I didn’t really discuss it because I didn’t have any pictures! Because, well, someone (ahem, not me!) had a little accident with their camera, which resulted in us having to stop by a camera store in LA (which we were doing the day after our visit to Orange) to buy a new lens. So, alas, no pictures of shopping in Orange happened. But moving along… The old town part of Orange is as charming as can be. There are lovely old buildings, most of which are filled with antique shops and vintage clothing stores.
I didn’t buy too much, in fact, all I bought in included in this perfectly fall outfit I put together yesterday for errand running…
I bought the skirt at Elsewhere Vintage, which I’m not sure I can rave about enough. It’s a wonderland for any vintage gal, with pristine, drop-dead gorgeous and unique items. Every time I step in my mouth drops to the floor. After Elsewhere, we popped over to their “brother” shop, Joyride, which is an all menswear vintage shop (with top of the line inventory), where Patrick proceeded to buy five shirts and a jacket. Yeah. Then after that we went over to Villains Vintage, where I scored the tremendous hat here. And Patrick bought another jacket. So, basically he came away with way more than me, and It’s a good thing I didn’t buy more, or else we would have needed to check another bag! Be sure to keep shopping in mind if you ever plan a trip down to the area, especially if you’re flying! I gave serious contemplation to packing hardly any clothes and just buying some! May force Patrick to do that next time!

Love this outfit so much! There’s nothing like a great fitting pencil skirt to make a girl feel on top of the world. 🙂
Fabulous and wonderfully coordinate finds. I love your sweater!
Always like seeing you in your gorgeous wool skirts. Also love the back grounds you chose for these photos and for the previous post.
You look fabulous! I love love love that hat!!
I love reading your blog! I was born in Orange, California, but grew up in Astoria, Oregon. I LOVE, love, love Disneyland too! You are an inspiration and so much fun!
I would never have guessed your shoes were Payless, right on vintage sister:) Love the bag too. What a great ode to fall outfit:)

Ooh I love this look, the muted colors are just perfect together. I love the little details… the skirt pockets, the beads on the hat, your necklace. And that hat and bag combo are delicious!
I’m so pleased you visited my ole stompin’ ground !! Grew up in Anaheim, worked at Disneyland and had many wonderful times in Orange- I’m very aware of all the wonderful vintage shops, hope you got some great things. Did you go to Watson’s Drug Store for lunch or just a snack? Great place just to roam around and find “goodies” !
The pictures and info were great-as always!!
Aww, it’s great to know I’m not the only one who packs like that – or at least debates doing it. The trunk on our car is so small, so when packing for Calgary last month, I had to make sure to leave my suitcase half empty to accommodate my vintage purchases picked up while on the road.
Love everything about this beautiful autumn hued outfit. The detailing on your hat has me swooning up a storm. Brass + brown = fall time gorgeousness!

That hat is simply TO DIE for. You also have very gorgeous hair, you lucky lady! I’m now wanting to make a trip to the states… badly.
Your hat is exquisite! Such a perfect fall outfit (and colours too!) 😀 Also, you always find the nicest places to take your photos, it never gets boring!
Oh, wow! That hat is stunning. Very autumnal indeed! x
Just found your blog! I love reading it. Also, I have the same shoes, but I bought mine in the darker chocolate brown.
Have a great day!!
