Twice a year, Pinup Girl Clothing hosts Pin-Up Parade in the Park, an event at Disneyland, similar to that of Dapper Day, where gals are encouraged to dress up and celebrate pin-up style. The first one of the year was back in April (which you can see here), and since the second one fell in fall, attendees were highly encouraged to Disneybound as their favorite villain.
While Ratigan, from The Great Mouse Detective, is my favorite villain, my bound simply wasn’t coming together, but all of the pieces fell into place for me to bound as Ratigan’s “peg leg lackey”, Fidget. During the film, Fidget is given a task to acquire a list of things for Ratigan, and as per my MO, I, of course, needed a parasol to accompany me, and based my parasol design on the list.

I went with an asymmetrical skirt, which I have been a big fan of lately to offer an abstract take on Fidget’s peg leg, and paired two scarves together to emulate his two-tone scarf.
Just like last time, PUG hosted Disney themed trivia questions and gave winners “gift codes”, codes that gave the winners credit toward on-line purchases in varying amounts. Last time I walked away with $650 in credit. This time however I only came out with $125, which is still nothing to scoff at and I look forward to adding a few new items to my wardrobe in the near future.
I can’t believe next weekend is the last weekend in October! Where did the month go? It’s already shaping up to be a jam-packed weekend, including Stan Lee’s Comic Con, which Patrick and I are attending. We also got invited to four Halloween parties that weekend, and Saturday is the annual Anaheim Halloween Parade, which I missed out on the last two years! So I have some priority sorting to do before the weekend arrives, not to mention cosplays to work on! I hope your weekend was delightful and that your Halloween weekend is full of fun tricks and delightful treats!
