Jess-Belle Vibes for Spooky Farm

So earlier I talked about Knott’s Scary Farm, both with my first day outfit, and a guide to help newbies with the event, but today I’m talking about Knott’s Spooky Farm, the family-friendly event that Knott’s Berry Farm offers on weekends. It’s a fun offering where kids can trick-or-treat, take part in fun crafts such as pumpkin decorating, a costume contest, and check out unique and “spooky animals” (such as snakes and bugs) in the livery stable, as well as chat with friendly ghosts who roam the Ghost Town portion of Knott’s. Unlike Knott’s Scary Farm, Spooky Farm is offered with regular park admission. While it is more geared toward kids, it’s a perfect excuse for breaking out the Halloween and fall colored square dancing dresses.

Leaning against a post, with old west buildings in the background, some of which have been covered in faux spider webs, wearing an orange dress with a small yellow and green floral print, and yellow and green rick-rack along the neckline and skirt, also wearing black tooled leather shoes, and a plastic black cat necklace.

Myself walking along side old western buildings, wearing an orange dress with a small yellow and green floral print, and yellow and green rick-rack along the neckline and skirt, carrying a black tooled leather purse, also wearing black tooled leather shoes, and a plastic black cat necklace.

A cartoon pumpkin with a painted on jack-o-lantern face hangs on a post, a sign reading "Spooky Farm" hangs below.

Sanding with old west buildings in the background, some of which have been covered in faux spider webs, wearing an orange dress with a small yellow and green floral print, and yellow and green rick-rack along the neckline and skirt, also wearing black tooled leather shoes, and a plastic black cat necklace.

This dress gave me serious vibes from the episode “Jess-Belle” from The Twilight Zone, in which an Appalachian girl can’t bear to see the man she is in love with marry another, so she turns to a witch for advice, she gets her man, but also turns into a leopard at night. So I tossed on the black cat necklace by Match Accessories, to continue the theme.
