The Return of Adventureland Day

As it is already well established, I love Disneyland and a good theme, so I was overjoyed when I heard that Adventureland Day (put together by Tiki Tony), one of the newest unofficial theme days, was returning. The event encourages Guests to embrace all things Adventureland whether it is with tiki-tastic clothing, safari-wear (or adventurer chic as I like to call it), or animal prints. Now, while many of you know I love a good adventurer outfit, but I had recently found a vintage zebra print dress, and decided to embrace a look inspired by the Jungle Cruise.

Standing in front of the entrance to the Jungle Cruise, wearing a sleeveless zebra print dress.

Atop my head sits a headpiece made of tropical green leaves, purple, white and yellow flowers, and spears. Across the middle a small arched sign reads "Zambezi Miss." I wear a sleeveless dress featuring zebra print. Bamboo bangles grace the wrists.

Close-up of my headpiece, featuring large green tropical leaves, a large purple flower, and smaller white and orange flowers. Five spears jut from the middle, and a small arched sign reads "Zambezi Miss" in dark green letters.

You can see what I wore last year here, which will probably be more along the lines of what I will go for in future Adventureland Days, because it’s one of my favorite looks! But I mean, what better excuse will I have for a zebra print dress??

In the meantime, I’m actually blogging from Palm Springs! Yes, we are here like we are every March, for Patrick’s work conference, and I’m tagging along to explore. So stay tuned for Palm Springs adventures!
