Vintage Mini Trick or Treat Bags

Two years ago I started collecting vintage Christmas cards. The cards were like mini works of art, and I thought I would display them like clothes hanging on a line. I kept the idea going with vintage Valentines, and then for Halloween last year I decided to do it with vintage miniature treat bags, perhaps you even saw in my Halloween decorations post. And like with my collection of vintage Christmas cards and Valentines, which I have scanned portions of and shared with you before, I thought it would be fun to share a selection of treat bags!

A witch flies cross the sky, as a child in a clown costume peeks over a fence, and a black cat walks across it. Orange and black text reads "Trick or Treat"

A cowboy with a pumpkin for a head holds a lasso, inside the lasso it reads "Bag of Treats for Halloween Rustlers"

A pirate and a scarecrow walk up a pathway to a house, as a witch flies on a broom in front of the moon. Black text reads "Trick or Treat"

A black cat stands out front of a castle with a witch flying on a broom in front of the moon. Black and Orange text reads "Trick or Treat"

A witch flies over a country road. Black text reads "Trick or Treat"

A ghost, cat, witch, and pumpkins dot this bag, with "Halloween Treats" in black and orange letters.

A robed skeleton, a witch, and a pirate stand in front of an old steepled church, each hold a sign that reads "Treats for Terrible Tricksters"

A child in a devil costume walks up a walk toward a spooky house. Black and white text reads "Trick or Treat"

A witch rides a broom. Black and orange text reads "Trick or Treat"

A black cat sits in front of a spooky looking house. Black text reads "Trick or Treat"

A black cat on a fence spooks a ghost. The moon and stars hang in the sky. Orange and black text reads "Trick or Treat"

A harlequin pattern of white and orange cover this bag with small ghosts dotting it as well. Black letters read "Trick or Treat"

Looking to start your own collection? Antique malls are great places to find a bag here and a bag there, but if you want to get a bundle of them quickly, I highly suggest Ebay! There you can buy entire lots with many different bags for not too much!
