All Hallow’s Eve at Knott’s

For Halloween day, some friends, Patrick, and I spent the sunshine filled day, and the fog filled night at Knott’s Berry Farm. During the day we popped inside the Bird Cage Theatre to catch Bob Baker’s Halloween Spooktacular, followed by the bluegrass tunes of Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies. As night fell it was time for one final night of screams celebrating Knott’s Scary Farm’s 50th anniversary.

I had a totally different outfit planned, but while at the Anaheim Fall Festival I bought a witch’s hat that just screamed Knott’s Berry Farm! So I had to change up my outfit for more of cowghoul vibe.

A large skeleton stands in front of a windmill. In front of the windmill hang several vintage ads for Knott's Scary Farm. In the middle is a large crest reading "50" in red numbers.

Three puppeteers stand on a stage, each with marionettes on strings. Two work with female dancers wearing white, the third works with a Dracula puppet.

We were so busy socializing I hardly got any snaps! But we certainly had fun. I just can’t believe the Halloween season is over! And with it the 50th anniversary of Knott’s Scary Farm! It really seemed to fly by this year. I didn’t even go to a pumpkin patch! Nor did I got to the “Vampirates” show at Pirates Dinner Adventure just up the street from Knott’s! Well, there is always next year I suppose!
