Friendship

Photographs are pretty magical.  They capture so much, but what I love is when they capture friendship. Here’s another peek into my vintage photo collection, but this time it’s all about friendship.

  1. I love these types of pickies too. I always find myself wondering what happened to these people, especially the young ones. Thanks for sharing.

These ones have particularly excellent hair to goggle at too!

  2. Love seeing your old photos! The colored one really caught my eye because I might be moving into a cute 1950s red house. The 2 girls in their pencil skirts are great!

  3. I’ve been lurking for a while but had to comment on this one to say that I love seeing your entries about your photo collection and particularly love this set! Thanks for sharing!

  4. These are so immensely sweet, heartwarming and endearingly special. Each one, in its own unique way, reminded me of a memory shared with one friend or another over the years, and put the biggest (nostalgia fuelled) smile on my face. Thank you!

  5. friendship. this is a lovely idea! great pictures great post.
it reminds me on a family picture that must be somewhere in our storage room. it is a photo of my granny and her sister being shot when they were teenagers (in the early 40s). hopefully i find it one day.

  6. Love this post, not just for the lovely theme of friendship but for the wonderful pictures you have in your collection. Yikes these photos are fantastic! I think I might just pour over the pics a little more as all the details on the clothing and the hair, the shoes are just..wow! I also think I need to try and get some good “vintage” photos with my girlfriends as well.
